Your Journey, Day by Day
Day 01Arrival in Kenya
Meet your Janja representative and transfer to your hotel in Nairobi. You can explore some of the attractions such as the David Sheldrick elephant, giraffe center, Nairobi museum among others. You get to relax before you embark on your jungle trip.
Day 02Fly into the wild
Catch a light flight from Nairobi directly to Masai Mara, pick up by your designated driver and tansfer to the lodge for check in and mid morning snack. You will then leave for an introductory game drive as you explore the reserve. Have your picnic lunch in the middle of the jungle and continue with the game drive till evening when you will go back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 03Great Migration Safari
After beakfast leave for an early morning game drive till midday when you will come back to the lodge to wait for the sun to go down as you enjoy the lodge ammenities. In the afternoon go out again in hopes of witnessing the crossing.
Day 04Extensive wildlife viewing
Early in the morning, you will leave out to experience the balloon safari. As you soar over the mara, you will have an aerial view of the reserve and most probably this will be the greatest highlight of your trip. After that you will have bush breakfast and return to the accommodation to relax for a while before heading out again for your final gamedrive and hopefully you will have witnessed the crossing of the wildbeests by now. Return to the accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 05Fly back to Nairobi
Enjoy one more morning as you take in the beautiful african landscape. Check out and transfer to catch your flight back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.
